To take charge of your money is to have a plan for it. The best way to do this is to create a budget.
Remember all debts and costs need to be included in your budget, for example:
- Purchase of basic supplies
- Phone bill
- Laundry costs
- Entertainment (movies, dances, eating out, etc.)
- Car maintenance and payment
- Personal needs
- Savings/investments
- Miscellaneous. If you are living off campus or are a single parent, other
items to consider are:
- Rent
- Utilities (water, electricity, etc.)
- Parking fees
- Child care costs
The following budget sheet is provided to assist you with creating and
maintaining your budget. You will be able to enter your dollar amounts
